China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 5,187/tonne as of October 9, up Yuan 10/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 5,215/t today, down Yuan 1/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. Most terminals lifted their quotations, but the hike was offset by one terminal scaling down the prices.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 37,989 tonnes on October 8, up 13.92% from the last trading day. In detail, the sales volume was 15,204 tonnes in East China, up 25.48%, 11,928 tonnes in South China, up 3.09%, and 9,660 tonnes in North China, up 9.52%, according to OilChem data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to remain stable as the terminals are projected to focus on destock in the face of relatively high in-plant inventory.
