China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 5,186/tonne as of September 23, down Yuan 81/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 5,214/t today, down Yuan 18/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices dropped on rising inflow of domestic resources, and the downstream players' stockpiling was relatively slow.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 36,414 tonnes on September 22, down 1.31% from the last trading day. In detail, the sales volume was 13,818 tonnes in East China, down 3.66%, 11,613 tonnes in South China, down 4.98%, and 9,471 tonnes in North China, up 6.37%, according to OilChem data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to stabilize in the near term as the prices are already low with the producers lowering the prices in the previous stage to destock.
