The production of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) in China reached 233,500 tonnes in September, a month-on-month increase of 8.7%. The growth is attributed to the expected demand during the traditional peak season, increases in the downstream power and energy storage sectors, and favorable operating rates among leading and emerging LFP manufacturers.
China's LFP production is expected to rise 2.2% to 238,700 tonnes in October, driven by the impact of policy incentives.
