China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 5,126/tonne as of October 18, down Yuan 18/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 5,200/tonne today, down Yuan 14/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices dropped further as the downstream players favored low-priced resources, and the high-priced ones could hardly find a buyer.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 37,212 tonnes on October 17, down 0.89% from the last trading day. In detail, the sales volume was 14,616 tonnes in East China, down 2.93%, 10,962 tonnes in South China, down 4.04%, and 10,374 tonnes in North China, up 5.11%, according to OilChem data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to stabilize in the face of relatively sufficient supply and slow shipment, though Ningxia again restricts the gas supply in the industrial sector.
