According to the latest news on the afternoon of September 2, the People's Government of Zhungeer Banner, the Zhungeer Economic Development Zone, and Inner Mongolia Xinjing New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. signed an Investment Cooperation Agreement for the sodium-ion battery and energy storage industrial park project. On-site business license registration and company registration procedures were also completed for the enterprise.
It is reported that the total investment for the sodium-ion battery and energy storage industrial park project is approximately Yuan 20 billion and it will be constructed in two phases. The first phase, with a planned investment of Yuan 5 billion, is designed for a production capacity of 10 GWh; And the second phase, with a planned investment of Yuan 15 billion, is designed for a production capacity of 40 GWh. Upon full production, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value exceeding Yuan 10 billion and provide jobs for over 1,500 people.
