HRC/CRC Prices to Fluctuate Down in Short-run
With major steel mills’ prices cut in August ex-mill prices strategy, HRC and CRC prices continue to fluctuate down, without any hint of stabilization. Traders are pessimistic about the future market. Li Zhongshuang, the GM of Shanghai Duanrui Metal Materials Co., Ltd who is specialized in sheet trading said that the HRC and CRC markets will continue to stay volatile, with little possibility to rebound in short-run.

HRC / CRC Prices to Remain Volatile
With the formal implementation of withdrawal of some steel products’ export rebate on July15, the prices of HRC and CRC have been affected with prices continuing to fluctuate downwards, This has aroused the attention of many traders’. Mr. Li Zhongshuang, the GM from Shanghai Ruikun Metal Materials Co., Ltd. stated that the HRC and CRC markets will continue to fluctuate and remain volatile; consequently it will be difficult to foresee any improvement in the short- term.
